Today we explored Mombasa, went to the Mombasa Stone Town with a guide who insisted on guiding us:

 

 

 

 

Reminded us of place where I bought a long black Orthodox skirt in Jerusalem

 

 

 

 

Restaurant where we had shakes and used their wi-fi

 

 

Bought some spices at a shop, bought some Masai jewelry very cheap, went to an Indian restaurant for shakes and wi-fi, went to an art exhibit at Alliance Francaise of a Congolese artist named Romain Kita:

Got bus tickets for tomorrow morning at 8 am for Dar es Salaam.  We will be staying with our CouchSurfing friend Marshad.  He was the first person I contacted a month before the trip, so three months ago, so it is exciting that we will be meeting him tomorrow evening.  It's 9 hrs to Dar from here. Then on to Zanzibar and dolphins!

So far, so good!
