1/17/14: TOBIN CLINIC/COMPUTER CL TRAINING
Yehudah headed into Mbale for his last day at the Tobin Health Clinic and came back rather unhappy with the lack of work he was able to accomplish. The signs he had created for the infectious material section didn't show up as promised. So he finished organizing the papers for the doctor doing as much as he dared move things around. The one satisfying part was that the doctor brought sacks to take the glass vials to be recycled. Yehudah gave the woman who was separating the broken vials and used needles the pair of gloves he brought from home. But he was nervous that she would still get stuck and wasn't happy until she finished the job.
Meanwhile, Joanie did another CL Training with the computer class, this time with 10 students, on conflict, triggers, and self-calming, at the same time Harriet was leading a session on writing proposals for funding, which was well attended. The rest of the day was devoted to computer work and Joanie finally downloaded some programs for video editing and u-tube creation.
